Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst Associate to join our team based in Colorado. This role requires real estate experience and a strong background in financial analysis, underwriting, and assisting with deal sourcing. As a Financial Analyst Associate, you will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, underwriting deals, and supporting the growth of our portfolio across the U.S.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis and underwriting for potential real estate investment opportunities
Evaluate property performance, market trends, and financial statements to assess investment viability
Source new deals through market research, networking, and relationship-building with brokers and property owners
Prepare investment/offering memorandums, financial models, and presentations for senior management and investors
Collaborate with the acquisitions team to assess deal structures, negotiate terms, and facilitate due diligence
Present potential acquisitions to the investment committee
Assist in the development of investment strategies and business plans to optimize property performance
Monitor and track market conditions, property values, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks
Support the financial analysis of current properties under management and provide recommendations for optimization
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, underwriting, or real estate investment
Strong understanding of real estate financial analysis, including cash flow modeling and valuation techniques
Experience in deal sourcing, negotiations, and due diligence processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software, and real estate databases
Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information clearly
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
