Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Rail Bridge Engineer, we'll count on you to:
- Serve in a technical role, under the direction of a Project Manager
- Oversee the work of EITs and Junior Project Engineers
- Prepare detailed engineering designs for rail projects
- Take responsibility for project involvement, ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase
- Perform other duties as needed
Travel
- Percentage of local travel - 0%
- Percentage of travel greater than 40 miles - 0%

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads and InRail
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting
- MS Office software experience
- Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in transportation design - railroad projects
- Preference given to local candidates
