This high-impact role is responsible for enhancing, implementing, and managing talent programs and new initiatives, and improving processes aimed at creating superb employee experience during their career at our organization.

As a key member of our global team, you will play a significant role in implementing our talent strategy, and specific programs, tools, processes, and frameworks to facilitate improved employee experience, enhance connections and engagement in a hybrid work environment, support development of emerging and established leaders, and enable all employees to experience meaningful career growth and development.

The primary scope includes leading talent management initiatives across our global firm coming from the highest levels of organizational leadership.

How You Will Spend the Majority of Your Time
  • Serve as the global liaison and manager for several new initiatives and programs aimed at creating employee connections across the global APCO network, building relationships particularly among new hires, and maximizing our employer brand and external relationships.
  • Partner with business units and corporate operations teams to support their strategic business initiatives and change management efforts from a talent management perspective.
  • In collaboration with the global talent team, facilitate the team's efforts of continuous process improvement to create clarity, efficiency and excellent employee experience. Streamline and organize our knowledge assets into a user-friendly and easily accessible self-service portal.
  • Lead on efforts that are global in nature and require talent team liaison or project manager (on boarding program, staff engagement, annual performance review process, global buddy program, exchange program, alumni program, etc.)
  • Serve as an activator and lead for our corporate efforts related to employe brand launch, building the Workplace for the Future and embracing changing work environment.
  • Contribute as a researcher to ensure that we stay informed about the latest market practices in talent management practices and initiatives in our industry. Partner with the CTO on thought leadership initiatives.
  • Lead and/or support change initiatives within HR and across the organization, including developing key messages and communication plans.
  • Support corporate initiatives such as M&As and the launch of new corporate brands, focusing on staff on-boarding, communications, and proactive engagement during significant moments of change and transition. Work with corporate and team leadership to develop communications plans, organizational structures and change management efforts.
  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to understand needs, solve problems, generate analysis and insights, and develop innovative solutions across organizational boundaries

Capabilities You'll Bring to the Team
  • Knowledge and experience as HR generalist well versed in the full employee life cycle
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in a simple, straightforward, engaging manner across all levels
  • Exceptional organization skills and demonstrated ability to take on and manage initiatives (e.g., ensuring decisions are made quickly, monitoring progress of initiatives)
  • Strong critical thinking (e.g., collaborating with leadership, developing robust 'when, what, how, and who' plans, capturing lessons learned)
  • Analytical skills (e.g., determining metrics for use in reporting and dashboards, performing ad-hoc analysis of relevant enterprise-wide talent metrics, uncovering and interpreting trends in data, providing insights to support actions)
  • Expert guidance and thought leadership (e.g., researching relevant topics to support talent management programs and processes, making recommendations)

Experiences You've Had
  • Talent and organization development design & implementation of organization-wide talent programs and consulting on business unit talent strategies. Success in leading organization-wide programs and projects.
  • Leading process improvement or change management efforts.
  • Consulting on talent experience and engagement best practices. Informing and guiding several process improvement or tool/framework development efforts.
  • Success in creating a holistic talent experience by integrating key processes and programs (performance, engagement, mobility, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in HR/Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10-15+ years' experience in human resources, leading projects, people, and/or organization-wide processes.
  • Experience in talent management, leadership development, and change management.
  • Experience in end-to-end HR project management (e.g., thinking creatively, prototyping new ideas, hands-on design and development, coordinating multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of quality products
  • Previous experience in professional services, consultancy or similar type of business.
