Responsibilities

• Lead welding, fabrication, and CNC machining departments, overseeing supervisors.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Implement best practices for process efficiency and waste reduction.
• Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, shorten lead time, and improve quality.
• Lead process optimization projects using lean manufacturing principles.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, customer service, and quality assurance departments.
• Participate in organizational goal-setting and initiatives.
• Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Address performance issues promptly and constructively.
• Promote a safety culture, enforce protocols, and conduct audits.
• Participate in safety committee activities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in manufacturing leadership
• Expertise in welding, fabrication, and CNC machining.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to split time between shop floor and office.
• Capable of reading blueprints and learning various software systems.
