Autumn House East is looking for a hardworking, caring Cook to add to our wonderful team! We are an in-house operated food service program with established menus and recipes and the flexibility to let staff shine through process and recipe improvement. The typical cook shift time is either 11am to 7pm or 6am to 230pm. Cooks are the lead for the kitchen in the absence of the Chef. They are responsible for all staff completing their job in a timely fashion and correct, the closing cleanliness of the kitchen as well as meeting state and local regulations.

Employees are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

* Knowledge of scratch cooking a definite plus as we look to elevate the expectations of food service.

* Compassion for elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life is the focus of this food service operation.

* The ability to lead others in appositive way

* To stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours,

* An eye for detail

**Qualifications and Skills**

Prior Cook experience is preferred
