Your role in helping us shape the future:
U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. As an autos intern, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your strengths and skills to help ensure the high quality of our consumer-oriented automotive rankings and reviews. This one-year, full-time internship is open to recent college grads in the Washington, D.C. area. Remote candidates will be considered.
In this entry-level role, you'll play an important part in our production process. You'll fact-check new auto reviews and monthly car deals, upload images to our content management system and update and publish reviews and articles. There may be opportunities for writing or editing, but please note that is not part of the primary duties. Our ideal teammate is deadline- and detail-oriented and has strong communication skills.

Fact-check and research auto reviews, deals and articles
Edit and upload photos
Update and publish car reviews
Work extensively in a content management system
Play an intrinsic part in the production process
Work closely with a talented and diverse team of writers and editors
Position Requirements
You should definitely have:
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism or a related field
Utmost attention to detail
Proactive and self-motivated approach to your work. You should be able to work both independently and cross-functionally with team members.
Strong internet research skills
Willingness to learn
Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
Solid communication and organizational skills
It would be nice if you had:
Experience gathering, processing and analyzing data from multiple sources
Familiarity with a content management system
Desire to work on consumer-focused products

This is a one-year, full-time internship that pays $17.10 an hour
