Regency Care of Arlington is looking for caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who strive to provide exceptional clinical care to our residents.
Location and Hours: The permanent working location for this position will be Arlington, VA and hours are 3pm-11pm. Must be certified in VA.

OUR WORKPLACE

CNA DUTIES:
Must be able to read, write, speak,and understand the English language
Must be able to lift, turn, move,position, and transport residents, alone or with assistance
Observe residents' conditions,measuring/recording food/liquid intake and output as well as vital signs, then reportchanges to professional staff as applicable
Collect specimens such as urine,feces, or sputum
Must be able to explain medicalinstructions to residents and family members
Work as part of a medical team thatexamines and provides service to residents
Administer medications andtreatments, such as catheterizations, suppositories, irrigations, enemas,massages, and douches, as directed by a physician or nurse
Answer residents' call lights
Provide residents with help walking,exercising, and moving in and out of bed
Must be able to assist residentswith baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toiletry
Transport residents to treatmentunits, using a wheelchair or stretcher
Must be able to assist in theevacuation of residents
Restrain residents if necessary
Prepare, serve, and collect foodtrays
Clean rooms and change linens asinstructed
Deliver messages, documents andspecimens
Answer phones and direct visitors asneeded
Maintain inventory by storing,preparing, sterilizing, and issuing supplies such as dressing packs andtreatment trays
Perform clerical duties such asprocessing documents and detailing residents' condition
REQUIREMENTS:
CNA certification must be a graduate of a state approved CNA program
Experience: None - we provide on the job training!
