The Mechanical Engineer will work on the design and development of HVAC systems in a team and individual environment. Will work closely with outside stake holders while interpreting blueprints and overall implementation of new system.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports
Research, design, and evaluate systems or processes to meet requirements
Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information
Develop coordinate, or monitor all aspects of productions, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs
Review technical documents to plan work
Design industrial and commercial processing systems
Design industrial and commercial equipment
Evaluate characteristics of equipment or systems
Confer with other personnel to resolve design or operational problems
Able to work as an effective team player and independently
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
10 years of experience in HVAC Design
Experience working on commercial projects
Advance proficiency in AutoCAD, Trane (700), and Trace load software
Knowledge of current international building code (NFPA)
Proficiency in REVIT
