Overview

Looking for a Senior Software Engineer, who will help in the development and enhancement of the existing platform, focusing on maintaining and improving the data ecosystem. The candidates will be proficient in Python, Java, SQL, and AWS, with experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and real-time decision-making systems.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop software solutions accordingly.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to transfer data into our databases, utilizing Python, Java, and AWS services such as AWS Glue.
• Build real-time decision-making systems to process transactions within strict latency requirements (500 milliseconds).
• Work closely with DevOps engineers to deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong emphasis on Python, Java, and SQL.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, AWS Lambda).
• Designing and implementing real-time decision-making systems with low latency requirements.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with Scala and JavaScript.
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Flink Spark, Kafka,
• Familiarity with EMR clusters and big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of financial services or credit card processing industry.
