Job description

Zolon Tech is seeking a Program Manager for a newly awarded contract with the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), a division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which is committed to improving and streamlining its Information Technology (IT) systems and support. ACF requires Information Technology and Operations and Maintenance Support services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Job Duties:
Serve as the program manager typically responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex
and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations.
Provide overall direction of program activities.
Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization.
Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules costs, and contractual obligations.
Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and provide support to the OCIO and the various program offices.

Manages and maintains contractor interface with the senior levels of the Cross-Functional Team (CFT).
Consults with CFT and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules costs, and contractual obligations.
Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to CFT, organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Qualifications:
B.S. Computer Science/MIS AND a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the education/degree requirement.
Must possess 2 years of task leader experience managing a group of engineers and the full ADP lifecycle in software engineering

Location: Washington, D.C 2 days office/ 3 remote
Certifications: PMP + SAFe Agilist certification Preferred.
