Job description
The Medical Office Receptionist will provide front office support in a physician office setting.* Answers telephone promptly and courteously, takes accurate and complete messages, forwards, or answers inquiries as appropriate. Schedules all patients according to policy and procedures.* Collects, verifies and performs insurance eligibility into the practice management system.* Collects co-payments or old balances and provides written receipts for all payment transactions.* Provides coverage at various clinic locations as needed.Who We Are:Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more.
