Job Title: Community Outreach Specialist

Location: National Capital Region / Remote (as mission requires)

Security Clearance Required: Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility

Job Overview: The Customer Outreach Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Enterprise Management (EM) services' visibility and adoption across mission partners. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive outreach strategies, including content creation, go-to-market plans, brand integration, and training programs to ensure the successful engagement and utilization of DISA EM solutions within the Department of Defense (DoD) community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content and Strategy Development: Craft a content strategy and go-to-market plan that aligns with both DISA and mission partner objectives, supporting the DISA EM family of services.
  • Content Creation: Design and produce a variety of marketing collateral, including brochures, fact sheets, infographics, and digital content, highlighting the features, benefits, and differentiators of DISA EM services. Develop engaging and informative presentations tailored for various audiences, including DoD leadership, technical teams, and end-users, to showcase the value proposition and capabilities of DISA EM solutions.
  • Brand Integration: Ensure consistent brand integration across all EM engineered services, enhancing brand visibility and recognition within the DoD community.
  • Community Engagement: Host webinars and presentation sessions to inform the community about new capabilities, updates, and benefits of the EM family of services.
  • Training and Support: Provide comprehensive user and partner training sessions to facilitate successful mission partner engagement and uptake of DISA EM solutions. Implement a feedback loop to continuously evolve and maintain service capabilities based on real-time user insights.
  • Adoption and Satisfaction Improvement: Work closely with current and prospective users to boost DoD community adoption, enhance user satisfaction, and increase overall utilization of the EM services.
  • Feedback Integration: Actively gather and integrate user feedback to inform service improvements, ensuring DISA EM solutions meet and exceed mission partner needs.
Additional Activities:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of the defense sector's needs and trends to identify new outreach opportunities and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including technical, marketing, and support departments, to ensure a unified approach to customer outreach and service promotion.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outreach activities, adoption rates, user satisfaction, and overall impact of the outreach program.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer outreach, marketing, or a similar role, preferably within a government, defense, or technology-focused organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful content and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the defense community and its operational needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DISA or DoD Enterprise Management services.
  • Professional certification in marketing, communications, or related field.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration is preferred.
Years of Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in customer outreach, marketing, or related roles within a government or technology-driven environment.
