About the Role: We re seeking a detail-oriented MEP Estimator to join our client a well-established commercial General Contractor based in Gaithersburg. You will work closely alongside the Director of Estimating on a variety of projects, including competitive bids, design-builds, and conceptual estimates. Knowledge in plumbing, and mechanical systems will be crucial, with additional experience in electrical systems a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop subcontractor scopes of work across multiple projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, compile estimate summaries, and draft pricing strategies.
• Participate in site visits, pre-proposal meetings.
• Produce RFIs
• Collaborate with our estimating team for seamless trade coordination.

What You Need To Succeed:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents.
• 3+ years of MEP construction experience.
• Familiarity with construction software (Building Connected, On-Screen Takeoff, Blue Beam, Procore).
• A bachelor s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is preferred.
