Job description

Robert Half's client is looking for a web content manager. The Senior Web Content Manager will oversee website content management and design in alignment with the organization s communications priorities and goals. This role focuses on providing timely, consistent, and creative updates and enhancements to client websites, ensuring they are visually compelling, elevate the association s brand, and drive engagement. The Senior Manager will optimize digital journeys with a results-oriented and mobile-friendly approach while managing multiple web projects.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage and execute the day-to-day front-end operation and ongoing optimization of multiple websites, addressing any real-time issues.
  • Design copy layouts, landing pages, interactive visuals, and other digital assets within branding guidelines and style guides.
  • Improve website performance by maintaining web standards and UX best practices.
  • Continuously improve Content Management System (CMS) and train staff on CMS as needed.
  • Collaborate on short-term and long-term visions and strategies for website enhancements.
  • Maintain site sections and folders of all websites to ensure an orderly system.
  • Manage content and postings on the website in close coordination with department cross-divisional colleagues.
  • Create digital assets to support communications priorities and build out event and program pages of the website(s) in concert with marketing plans.
  • Monitor web content for currency, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with division and organization-wide priorities.
  • Provide consultative support for new digital technology implementations and integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and tools.
  • Provide ongoing Google Analytics reporting for the clients' websites to guide digital strategy optimization and articulate the rationale for strategy to the staff.
  • Make budget recommendations related to website and digital communications.
  • Develop SOPs and web content calendars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements Of the Position


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital project management, website management, digital marketing and/or website optimization. An advanced degree may be substituted for work experience. Substantive experience at the manager level is required.
  • Experience in membership associations desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while remaining detail and deadline-focused.
  • Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technological information to non-technical staff.
  • Highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, editing, organizational and project management skills required.
  • Ability to synthesize information for reporting and make recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JS, and website analytics tools like the Google Suite (Analytics, Optimize, Search Console, and Tag Manager).
