Your expertise in choosing, developing, and optimizing data technology environments will be instrumental in driving our data-driven initiatives forward. This role ensures that development follows standards, specifications, controls, audits, and procedures to ensure data integrity, quality, accuracy, usefulness, and timeliness.Essential FunctionsUtilizes Power BI to design, develop, and maintain interactive and intuitive dashboards that showcase data trends, patterns, and anomalies.Integrates data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance.Implements best practices for data visualization, including effective use of charts, graphs, and other visual elements to enhance data storytelling.Contributes to the development and improvement of data visualization templates, standards, and guidelines.Explores innovative techniques and tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of data visualization processes.Collaborates with the broader team to identify opportunities for automation and optimization of data visualization workflows.Collaborates closely with functional area leaders to understand data requirements, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Translates complex data into meaningful and visually compelling dashboards that provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making.Effectively communicates complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, enabling clear understanding and appreciation of data insights.Embraces and exemplifies ADS core values:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Data Visualization Specialist, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on Power BIProficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, custom visuals, and Power Query transformationsSolid understanding of data visualization principles, user experience design, and best practices.Experience with other data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.) is a plusKnowledge of data manipulation, data cleansing, and data transformation techniquesFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and SQL is advantageousFriendly, professional, and effective communications skills; able to calmly present solutions in challenging situations.Proactive identification of challenges, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.Service-orientation and aptitude to utilize proper listening skills.Able to understand and analyze complex problems and accurately define the issue and the requirement.Demonstrated success in meeting goals and objectives.Effective analytical skills: able to use inductive and deductive reasoning to anticipate outcomes.Self-directed accountability and reliabilityAble to manage & prioritize multiple tasks/projects, work autonomously, and meet deadlines.Able to work well in a team environment that promotes inclusiveness & communication among team members.Able to demonstrate self-motivation, confidence, energy, and creativity.Cultural competencePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The general pay range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation depends on education, experience, and relevant skills.
