Overview

As a Steampunk Salesforce Technical Architect, you will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well



architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.

Develop, test, document and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation using Salesforce declarative or programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages and Lightning components. Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests. Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.

ContributionsDesign, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needsManage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC applicationsDeliver support and solutions for break/fix issuesCommunicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutionsPerform Salesforce administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.) and developmentAbility to support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvalsSupport data migration related analysis, manipulation, and load activities for system cutover and SFDC go-liveHandle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutionsMonitor Salesforce.com usage for complianceMaintain security for Salesforce.com dataInterface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work productsImplement App Exchange platformsResearch integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staffResearch and development of new Salesforce.com prototypes and applicationsResearch and keep current on force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadershipPerform maintenance and troubleshooting of applicationsBuild client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with clientParticipate and engage in all team meetingsDocument best practices and operational proceduresFacilitate continuous improvement within the environment

Qualifications

Required:Master's degree from an accredited institution and 12+ years of total experienceU.S. Citizen7+ years of experience with Salesforce development3+ years of experience with Salesforce implementationFunctional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirementsMust have proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web ServiceEligible to obtain and maintain and government Public Trust security clearanceSalesforcedevelopment and implementation experience.At minimum hold current Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certificationsExperience with Java-based applicationsExperience with VS Code with Salesforce DX and Git version controlExperience delivering Salesforce projects using Agile and DevSecOps methodologiesExperience with Salesforce Development and Deployment ToolsExperience leading, mentoring, and overseeing the work of junior developersExperience with Communities and FlowsExperience with declarative configuration, Apex development, and Lightening developmentAble to translate user stories into working software with minimal oversightPreferred Skills:Experience with MuleSoft, Heroku, Einstein AnalyticsExperience with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube,
