OverviewArea Construction Manager/Project Manager-Dev (Area CM/PM-Dev) leads, manages, and supervises a multi-functional team of subject matter experts, HVAC technicians, allied tradesmen, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, janitors, welders, grounds maintenance personnel. The Area CM/PM-Dev advises and assists the customer in all aspects of project planning, design-build, construction,), project deactivation, including supporting site operational and maintenance (O&M) as well as workforce mobilization and demobilization. The Area CM/PM-Dev is responsible for developing construction documents and specifications; evaluation of bids; reviewing of shop drawings and submittals; conducting site inspections and quality assurance; evaluating project modifications and change orders; and validating accomplishment of work claimed on invoices for partial payments. These tasks may include, but not limited to coordinating and assisting third party construction firm(s) in such a manner as to ensure project success, to include being on-budget, on-time, within scope, with an acceptable level of quality given the project requirements and the environment..ResponsibilitiesProvide security administration services to assist the Government's Area Security Officer with personnel security related requirementsOpen security actions and maintain security recordsMaintain, verify and facilitate clearance informationHandle requests for building access and clearance certification/verification for visitorsEnsure employees are apprised of security issues, processes, and proceduresRespond to queries and requests for guidance and/or assistance in matters pertaining to security issues, processes, problems, and/or timelinesProcess other security-related requestsQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor s degree in any field; high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five (5) years work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirementCertificationsMust have Valid U.S. Driver s License and be able to obtain an International Driver s LicenseMust have a valid U.S. PassportBe licensed and able to drive a manual transmission non-tactical vehicle (SUV, pickup truck/9 passenger van).Pass customer specific training and certifications.Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.Professional Engineer (PE) certification desired.Travel must be worldwide deployable, often to remote, austere permissive and non-permissive environments.Clearance must have an current, adjudicated, and active TS/SCI security clearance with Poly.
