Participate in critical design reviews of automotive EV battery systems
*Design for manufacturing review of pack design and processes
*Review of designs to ensure proper application of requirements which could impact plants or manufacturing processes
*Establish and document new requirements, best practices, and lessons learned as appropriate
*Support problem-solving activities and corrective actions as necessary
*Work with Design Release Engineers to ensure consistent application of requirements and best practices across programs
*Maintain end-of-line test core standards and support project teams in developing application-specific test procedures and standards
*Support FMEA generation from the manufacturing perspective
*Support Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and Continuous conformance test standard development
*Support manufacturing plants as needed, potentially on sight, for issue resolution or launch support including process-related quality issues
Bachelor of Science in Engineering as accredited by ABET or ABET equivalent
Experience with electro-mechatronic components requirements and manufacturing
Experience with various manufacturing processes such as component handling, cleaning, fastening, wire harness routing/fixing, and testing
Experience with bolted electrical joints for bus bars
Experience in the full product life cycle
Experience with Stellantis plant and manufacturing organizations
Experience in problem solving, preferably trained in reactive problem solving or DFSS
Experience with competitive bench-marking assessment preferably using AZMAC1
Experience establishing fastener torque standards and requirements
Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) based design review and conducting critical design review
Self-starter, highly motivated, and eager/able to learn new activities quickly
Google Suite and Microsoft Suit experience
Strong presentation skills, communication skills (oral and written)
Works well as an individual and as part of a team
High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
