Join a family of skilled Tradespeople that call the Champion City home. A growing, family-owned metal shop in Springfield is hiring experienced Maintenance Techs for 2nd and 3rd shift roles.

The Maintenance Tech should be able to perform preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities, ranging from general building maintenance to complete disassembly/repair of machinery and complex devices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in medium voltage electrical circuitry, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics
• Lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Strong knowledge of Robotic Welders and/or Stamping Presses
• Capable of working in confined spaces
• Capable of working at heights up to 40 feet
• Ownership of basic tools to perform maintenance duties as assigned
• Be able to operate Manual Mills and Lathes
• General Building Maintenance

EXPERIENCE:

Previous stamping press maintenance experience required. Previous experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms preferred.

Some formal post-high school training in machinery maintenance, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
