NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYThe Senior Director, Homes & Villas, Marketing, Brand, & Customer Experience leads the global marketing, brand and customer experience discipline for Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy. The Senior Director is responsible for developing, leading, and executing data-driven marketing strategies to meet aggressive topline goals. The Senior Director also works closely across multiple disciplines in the enterprise to increase consumer-facing placements and exposure, including Digital, Portfolio Marketing, PR, and Enterprise Partnerships. The role requires expansive knowledge of performance marketing and is accountable for all demand-driving initiatives, including: Paid Media, Owned Channel activation, Earned media, Social, etc. with the goal of increasing awareness, engagement and conversion across all funnel stages. Finally, the Senior Director will guide and monitor marketing in the continents ensuring strategy and execution is consistent globally. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education & Experience Required4-year degree from an accredited university in from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major. Eight or more years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on digital marketing and demand-generation, demonstrating progressive career growth. Five or more years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, marketing strategy, planning and execution.Prior experience in working in cross-discipline functions with a demonstrated ability to influence outside of formal reporting lines and successfully deliver results.Past demonstration of strong leadership, strategy and interpersonal skills, including business acumen, analytic abilities, and communication skills, as well as an aptitude for using data to formulate and test hypotheses.Prior experience leading consumer-focused projects and/or platforms either in hospitality or other related industries.Education & Experience Preferred Masters degree in relevant fieldCORE WORK ACTIVITIES Homes & Villas Marketing/CustomerOptimize marketing spend and messaging across audience segments and channel mix, implementing a test and learn curriculum to scrutinize performance and optimize results.Lead brand positioning and overall communications strategy for both internal/external audiences as well as establish brand leadership within the home rental industry. Play a leadership role in determing strategy for expanding to additional brands/tiers. Develop promotional offers and marketing programs to meet seasonal booking behavior and consumer travel trends. Make content and creative decisions to optimize engagement, drive qualified visits and conversion to increase ROI of marketing spend. Interface with Global Marketing, Portfolio, Continent and Digital leaders to develop and execute marketing strategies that communicate the diversity of Marriott International s portfolio and drive HVMI affiliation with Marriott Bonvoy.Set the brand expectation and manage implementation and evolution for all customer touchpoint strategies including but not limited to guest communications throughout research, booking and pre/post arrival stages. Establish standards for digital and human-led guest experiences delivered by home management companies.Analyze the home rental industry and competitive marketplace to identify marketing opportunities and guest experience improvements. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
