Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior ISSE at the heart of the national security mission. The Senior ISSE will be responsible for performing day-to-day task related to information systems security engineering in Annapolis Junction, MD. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of systems and data. Skillet
- ISSO, ISSM, or ISSE experience in the cybersecurity career field within the Intelligence Community.
- Technical System Admin and/or Systems Engineer project work including review of vulnerability scans.
- Background in NIST 800-53 security controls w/in Risk Management Framework (RMF) process & procedures. Qualifications
- Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance.
- CISSP certification required - DoD 8570.01- M compliance with IASAE Level 2.
- 10+ years experience cybersecurity engineering on similar project scope.
- Bachelor's degree in accredited Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline is required.
- Experience in information systems security engineering and implementation.
- Knowledge of security standards and best practices.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
- Proficiency in security assessment and risk management.
- Experience in designing and implementing secure system.
