The contracts portfolio for this position will include a variety of contract types, with different customers thereby providing a diverse set of contracts and activities to support. This includes opportunities for both future growth and advancement within our world-class and supportive contracts organization. This position is further enabled by our state of the art and well thought out contracting Information Technology (IT) system that helps automate and streamline contract management functions. This Senior Contracts Manager position will support our Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, which, as CACI s largest sector, provides innovative and exciting solutions that are modernizing and enabling Government agencies' operations. These capabilities include IT infrastructure modernizations, operations and sustainment, the design, development and sustainment of enterprise applications, the delivery of business process services and more.The Contracts function is a centralized organization that serves as the official face of CACI, leading and performing negotiations for contract management in all phases of our programs which begins with opportunity shaping and continues through proposal and post-award. Further, the Contracts function is a valued strategic business partner responsible for building lasting relationships and delivering balanced and equitable business deals thus ensuring the long-term, mutual success of both CACI and our Government customers. Based on the position s requirement to access the portfolio s classified data and to communicate with customers, this role will require some work to be based out of secure facilities (SCIFs) in Chantilly, VA. However, the successful candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely when SCIF access is not needed to accomplish their responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to impact business outcomes, collaborate across the business and with other functions, cultivate relationships with the DOD, IC, and other Federal Government acquisition customers. This includes using business acumen to lead program teams in the successful development, negotiation, and implementation of insightful, ethical, profitable and creative contracting business solutions.Specifically, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for the following: Providing Government contractual expertise and leadership to the CACI BITS Sector Building and maintaining relationships with the Government Contracting Officer Negotiating price, terms, and conditions Assisting internal clients to identifying contractual changes, expeditiously engaging/notifying the Government, and leading internal personnel in the development of contractual approaches to successfully resolve such issues Negotiating various business agreements Participating in the development and review of proposals Establishing excellent working relationships with Program Managers and other internal stake holders Launching OCI screenings using our automated companywide system Performing risk assessments, and recommending and implementing mitigation approaches Interpreting contract terms and handling subsequent issues Actively participating in client meetings and reviewsAdditionally, the Contracts Manager will: Work independently on larger projects/assignments to include proposals and contracts with various degrees of complexity Apply business acumen and Government acquisition knowledge to develop opportunity shaping and negotiation strategies Proactively advise management of contractual rights, obligations, and risks, Support and lead negotiations Ensure compliance with CACI Contracts policies and guidelines as well as with US Government regulations; and influence internal and external stakeholders through use of facts, policies, and acquisition best practicesKey Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance, able to obtain a clearance. Desired clearance is active TS/SCI clearance with CI or Full Scope Poly 7+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating US Government and commercial agreements A demonstrated understanding and strong working knowledge of US Government Acquisition Regulations Adept at contract analysis The aptitude to work on diverse contractual issues simultaneously The ability to frame, draft and negotiate agreements Excellent presentation and communication skills Strong work ethic with a commitment to ensure that all deadlines are met on time and with a high degree of quality The skill to be persuasive while maintaining a positive customer and/or teammate relationship Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) and/or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) (Desired)What We Can Offer You: We ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.
