Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting Best Practices in Agile Software Development for the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI)!This team will support all NCTC directorates and offices in one of the most dynamic technology missions in the federal government. Our team will help NCTC achieve superior technology integration, automation, innovation, cost savings, and efficiency through the application of Agile-based methodologies and modern DevSecOps practices including integrated testing and transformative processes to support current and future mission requirements. The ability to be adaptable and work constructively in a fast-paced mission environment with technically diverse and geographically separated teams is crucial.More About the RoleThe Chief Architect, working closely across the organization with Application Developers, Operations Teams, and Security is responsible for setting the technical direction for all teams; building and promoting product roadmaps; leading the continuous evolution of mission software including functional and non-functional upgrades; and analyzing and improving software quality.What You ll Get to DoAs the Chief Architect, you will have the opportunity to develop comprehensive IT strategies, roadmaps, architectural products, systems, and deliverables for 30+ mission critical applications across the enterprise.Advise on the feasibility of large-scale transformation and migration initiatives for all phases of projects from inception to completion.Plan transformations across and within application portfolios and advocate technological application programs to achieve long-range objectives.Help evolve NCTC s technology vision by delivering a rigorous approach to IT modernization and transformations across the enterprise.Oversee key deployments and upgrades including cloud computing migration; software requirements development; the design of software architectures including cloud and hybrid cloud architectures that are scalable, highly available, and supportable; and technical service/capability delivery.Stay current on new and emerging software technologies, cloud computing, software development, and deployment methodologies and lead the research, prototype, and production of new concepts to support mission needs.Perform technology liaison leadership to facilitate, collaborate, and integrate impactful and advanced technical solutions for large-scale mission impacts across the agency.Collaborate with end user facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches.Performs Architecture reviews as required, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state(s).Drive continuous process improvement through the introduction of new technology and approaches across the enterpriseYou ll Bring These QualificationsODNI ISSA/TS with Poly security clearance, or equivalent clearance capable of cross-over.Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management systems or related technical discipline.
