Join our Joint Staff J-8 team at the Pentagon! As a Systems Engineer you will:Utilize sound systems engineering principles to conduct analysis, coordinate design solutions, and apply mathematical methods to solve complex system needs.Leverage systems engineering experience/education to address issues such as logistics, the coordination of different teams, development and analysis of requirements.Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan. A week in the life of an Systems Engineer: Support complex projects to include design and management over the project life cycle.Applies sound principles and methods to difficult problems in technical areas to arrive at automated solutions.Apply work-processes and tools to manage risks on technical projects in the areas of engineering, organizations studies, and project management.Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings.AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
