Must be familiar with our core network protocol, TCP/IP, and the basic functionality of DHCP and DNS. Must be experienced with WAN protocols and links (e.g., Frame Relay, leased line, satellite). Must have a sound knowledge of Voice-over-IP technologies and the convergence of voice/data/video onto one medium. Must understand the concepts associated with network security and have sound knowledge of CheckPoint firewall configurations and their function in separating the internal network from the external one and the Internet. Must be proficient with network management tools to test and troubleshoot the network as needed.Refer to the attached JD for the requirements of skills, technologies and experiences.
