Job Description The Intelligence & Security Sector of BAE Systems is seeking a Chief Engineer to support a large single award IDIQ providing IT support services to a Federal Civilian Agency. The Chief Engineer will play a key role helping our customer with cloud strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and an ability to customize customer systems to be more secure and efficient. The role also leads task order solution development, operational excellence, and developing resources across all IT O&M disciplines. To be successful one should have a portfolio of credentials demonstrating your ability to keep abreast of cutting-edge advancements in your field while being dedicated to excellence.Top candidates will demonstrate an ability be able to think on their feet clearly communicating their vision across multiple workgroups and stakeholders to include customer executive leadership, senior and frontline management, and technical subject matter experts. Ideal candidate will have a progressive background in IT Infrastructure Management with an emphasis in an engineering technical discipline.
