Our client is seeking a Distribution Center Industrial Engineer to lead process improvement projects within the four walls of the facility. They need an engineer who is adept at communication, capable of standards, but can also add a CI/PI presence to the network! The hired candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Improvement Having a background knowledge of wanting to always improve from the current baseline.
• Improvement Being able to identify better practices whether in slotting, layout, or removing steps or bottle-necks.
• Standards Testing, monitoring, validating, and implementing engineered standards.
• Management Being able to manage projects such as CapX, MHE, Sortation, and WMS or Standards implementations etc.
• A cultural leader for the company s values and mission.
• A safety-first culture.
• Data driven decision-making Assisting leadership in gathering data to drive better decisions about various metrics.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will possess most of the following traits:

• Engineering experience in a distribution and/or fulfillment center.
• Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar discipline.
• Demonstrated history of continuous and process improvement accomplishments.
• Background with engineered labor standards programs.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Sponsorship is not being offered at this time.
