V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a D203: Cust Svc Rep Cashierfor our premier client in Washington, District Of Columbia.
Education And Experience
- Min High School Diploma passed.
- Cashier experience processing cash transactions, issuing receipts and refunds, resolving customer complaints etc - Min 2 Years required
- Ability to perform basic business applications Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences;
Job Responsibilities:
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
- Redeem stamps and coupons.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the area.
