Systems Engineering Program Manager - Cross Functional Task Order Lead (DC Metro) Innovative Technologies Corporation (ITC) is currently seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer with a strong Information Assurance and IT background to join our incumbent bid to support a major US Air Force multi-national communications and military intelligence program headquartered in Fairfax, VA (near Fair Oaks) in a hybrid position. This position is KEY on the Proposal and the contract is expected to be awarded in late May 2024. This position will be supervisory in nature and considered a Program Leadership position overseeing multiple task orders and up to 60 IT and Engineering team members split between several smaller teams. An ideal candidate will have a robust background in systems or integration engineering, information assurance, and information technology, with strong program management and leadership skills. We are looking to interview qualified candidates immediately, and will provide a contingent offer to the best candidate. All Task Order Leads will work directly for the Senior Program Manager. Several other System Admin and Systems Engineer positions will be available once the new work is awarded. DoD Top Secret eligible required at hiring. (Approved 04/24/2024, CWMS 003) Required Certificates * CISSP, CISSA, or DoD 8570.01-M * GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP, CISA, CISSP, GSE, or SCNA Education: * Bachelor s or Master's Degree in information systems, computer science, system design, operations research, or a related technical field. Required Qualifications: * At least ten (10) years experience performing systems engineering and IT work within the DoD or Intelligence Community with increasing progressive experience (can be government civilian, military, or contractor experience) * Leadership of teams across multiple geographically-separated areas with a mix of hybrid and remote government and contractor team members; * Strong project and program management skills: tracking program/project status and schedules; analyzing program status, budgeting and scheduling requirements; perform program management, technical, or business case analyses; scheduling, coordinating, and supporting meetings * Expertise in oral and written English communications skills, including developing/ updating/ maintaining procedures and writing white papers/ reports/ briefings/ minutes; advanced skills in the Microsoft Office environment is essential (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) * DoD TS/SCI eligible at time of hiring (no exception) Desired Qualifications: * Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in any track or any Microsoft Role Based Certification (Core Infrastructure - Azure Admin, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Developer; Productivity - Teams Administrator, Messaging Administrator, Enterprise Administrator; Data Management & Analytics - Azure Database Admin, Data Analyst, Azure Data Engineer, Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist; Business Applications - Any Dynamics 365 certification * Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III (DoD 8570.01-M) (any: CISM, CISSP, CISSA, GSLC, or CCISO) * Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III - CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP * Previous Supervisory Leadership of Large IT and/or Engineering Teams * Experience with the US Air Force can be as a government civilian, military, or contractor The position is primarily located at Fairfax, VA, but local travel will include several locations in the DC metro area, plus MacDill AFB, FL, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA, and other US and overseas site. The candidate is expected to be onsite at least 2-3 days per week. 10% travel may be required. The Engineering and IT Program Manager will provide direct advice and counsel to senior government network, cyber, architectural, and engineering leadership and will lead the contractor Engineering and Technology Team. The Engineering and IT Program Manager will provide performance and professional development, mentorship, daily tasking, sub-team management, performance management, feedback, etc. for 30-60 direct and indirect reports. Attention to detail is essential, minimal supervision should be expected, and initiative is rewarded.
