to view more details about this job.GLP Attorneys, P.S., Inc., an established and respected plaintiff s personal injury law firm, seeks a professional Front Desk Coordinator to support our South Sound region, based out of our office in Tacoma, WA. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm working in the office .Our Front Desk Coordinator performs a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operations of the region. They serve as a source of information and a primary resource for our employees, clients, guests, vendors and visitors.Our firm has been providing excellent results to clients since 1986, and we have offices throughout the state of Washington. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wages in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our firm. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Compensation will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay. Please include a cover letter and your salary requirements with your resume.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Greets and supports clients, visitors, and vendorsGeneral Office: Facilities in/out; Conference Room Stocking; Restroom Stocking; Guest and Main Fridge; Kitchen(s); Dishwashers; LobbyAnswers phones calls and emailsPerforms data entry and filing tasksReceives, organizes and reviews mail and all incoming correspondenceAssists with office events and programsMay perform other duties as assigned such as client account balances, scanning and closing files, and other administrative responsibilities supporting our legal teamsSkills/Abilities:Exceptional at customer service, including communicating with clients, health care providers, and insurance companies; comes to work each day with a can do attitudeUnderstands the confidential nature of the work and is professional at all timesAbility to type at least 50 wpmAbility to proofread legal documentsProficient in Microsoft Office suiteBasic understanding of office equipmentBasic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filingAbility to work independently, identify and solve problems; highly organized and has the ability to prioritize work in the face of competing responsibilitiesEducation and Experience:High school Diploma or GED requiredPrior clerical experience preferredBilingual candidates are strongly encourage to applyPhysical Requirements:Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have some advance notice; involves regular exposure to requests from persons other than immediate supervisorJob frequently requires sitting and manual dexterityJob occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 35 poundsVision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronicallyGLP Attorneys is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind.
