TFC Poultry recently expanded and opened our second poultry production plant in Winchester, Virginia, as such we re currently hiring for our Warehouse Technician.

The Warehouse Technician will report to the Warehouse Supervisor will perform various tasks centered on the receiving, shipping, and moving of raw and finished materials.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Will receive the raw material and ship the finished goods produced in the normal course of operations

Will move product on to and off the production line

Will use various pieces of equipment for the completion of these tasks including both forklift, power jack, and hand pallet jack

Accurately and repeatedly carry out task(s) assigned with minimal labor, product, and material waste

Maintain work environment in a sanitary condition

Comply with HAACP and SSOP Protocols

Must consistently look to improve efficiency, work environment and sanitation by being proactive or offering suggestions to coworkers, leads, and managers

Communicate and establish healthy relationships with others in the workplace

Attend training to improve skills

Report to warehouse supervisor when problems, suggestions, or concerns arise

Promote personal and company image throughout the community

Demonstrate Flexibility when asked to preform various tasks

Responsible for QA checks on finished product combos

Collects and submits ideal yield data

Primary person for loading trucks

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 1 year warehouse experience

Bilingual: ability to speak fluently in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged standing and/walking on concrete

Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder motions

Prolonged exposure to cold working conditions

Ability to climb steps

Some positions may require pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
