Description & RequirementsMaximus is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Developer focused on legacy modernization to join our team. You'll architect and modernize mission applications in the DoD Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability environment, ensuring scalability and high availability. Ideal candidates will possess strong foundations in legacy systems, C, C#, SQL, and thrive in fast-paced environments.Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS022, T4, Band 7Responsibilities:* Provide technical oversight and guidance for legacy systems modernization.* Distill requirements and design objectives from legacy code and documentation.* Present technical solutions and participate in architecture reviews.* Architect, design, and secure cloud solutions for legacy application migration.* Implement and evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.* Support open-standard data formats for authentication and authorization.* Respond promptly to technical issues and collaborate with teams.* Gather system requirements and generate provisioning scripts.* Stay informed on cloud offerings, especially during system migration.* Debug technical issues within complex stacks.* Collaborate with development teams and support Agile methodologies.* Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and maintain systems on Kubernetes.Required Skills & Experience:* Candidates must possess an Active TS/SCI eligible.* Applicants must be able to pass a government required background investigation. Additionally, applicants must be able to work for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.* A bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field is required for this position or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. An Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.* 8+ years of experience related to the execution and management of large-scale Information Technology (IT) Projects. This includes a requirement of at least 2 years of direct experience in leading and executing enterprise-wide IT solutions in the private or public sector. Experience includes: Project management of technically and functionally diverse and complex IT Projects; Implementing detailed management techniques such as Earned Value Analysis; IT solution architectural analysis and design; Software and system developmental and acceptance testing; Acts as manager and overall point of contact for a specific project within an overall enterprise-wide IT solution Project.Desired Skills:* Hands-on experience with AWS components in a Java environment.* Strong skills in C, C#, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud deployment.* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container platforms.* Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and create technical specifications.* Understanding of the DoD Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability environment.Minimum RequirementsMaximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS022, T4, Band 7EEO StatementActive military service members, their spouses, and veteran candidates often embody the core competencies Maximus deems essential, and bring a resiliency and dependability that greatly enhances our workforce.
