We may select from this announcement or any other source to fill one or more vacancies.HelpDuties* The position is in the Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (OBO), Office of the Executive Director (EX), Information Resource Management Division (IRM).* Ensures that all appropriate safeguards are implemented for information collected, processed, transmitted, stored, or distributed on Department on premise networks and Cloud environments* Works assessment and accreditation (A&A) issues for all OBO systems, technologies, equipment, and applications.* Develops and uses Information Technology (IT) security performance measures to identify and resolve problems and areas of improvement .* Responsible for all matters pertaining to information system security services, including operational security, communications security, cyber security, and information assurance, On-Premises networks and in the Cloud.* Serves as an Alternate Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with responsibility for assisting the Bureau ISSO in the execution of the duties and responsibilities tasked to the Bureau ISSO.HelpRequirementsConditions of Employment* U.S. Citizenship is required.* Incumbent will be subject to random drug testing.* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.* Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
