Responsibilities:
  • Primary point of contact for the DC staff questions on company policies and procedures;
  • Work with HR Managers and other leaders within the organization to appropriately resolve employee relations issues;
  • Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding processes;
  • Maintain appropriate staff records within HRIS;
  • Assist with HR Analytics and reporting, compensation, preparation of annual affirmative action plan, as well as performance management process;
  • Partner with HR colleagues and leadership teams in development and execution of human resources initiatives to meet business goals;
  • Provide support in the recruitment process and execution of the workforce planning strategy;
  • Leverage the exit survey process and related turnover data;
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law.
  • Assist with department policy review and revision;
  • Maintain up to date job descriptions for all positions.

  • Must be highly organized, detailed, and customer-oriented;
  • Must have solid judgement, discretion, and have the ability to manage sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on multiple projects while meeting deadlines;
  • Strong technology skills in addition to an ability to pick up on systems quickly;
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of staff throughout the organization;
  • A strong collaborator who can work effectively in a team-focused, multi-tasking environment;
  • Exceptional MS office suite skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point;


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience working in Human Resources; experience in the following areas:
    • Employee Relations
    • Onboarding
    • Mentorship Programs
  • Bachelors Degree in human resources, business management, social sciences or a related field;
  • Must have applicant tracking system experience, preferably iCIMS or another similar tool;
  • Paycheck Flex and Deltek Vision experience preferred
  • PHR and or SHRM-CP certification preferred

  • Experience in an Architecture or Engineering firm preferred
