Job description

ROLEWe need an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Department of Transportation (DOT). Your scope of work will be focused on leveraging your expertise to ensure the quality of a new Salesforce solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the modernization of National Consumer Complaint Database (NCCDB) capabilitiesLeveraging the Salesforce Platform to provide quality assurance to NCCDBParticipate in the requirements gathering and analysisProvide insight on potential quality issuesDevelop automated and manual testing solutions based on customer requirementsCollaborate with Software Architects, Developers, and other technical team members to review implementationsReceive and provide testing feedback from implementations and tracking toolsImplement testing scenarios for usability testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)Apply expert knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologiesCreate a testing approach based on system documentation and requirements analysisCollaborate with business/technical stakeholders to comprehend system requirements and designDiscuss findings and impact of system modifications with stakeholdersUse tracking tools (e.g., Jira) to detail test cases, results, and defectsConduct regression testing after updates or the addition of new featuresEnsure original capabilities have not been affected after updates and or addition of new features

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

5+ years of functional experience3+ years of specialized experienceExtensive knowledge with Salesforce architecture and API solutionsExp. with Agile development methodologies, user story creation, scrum, etc.Proficiency with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking in Salesforce applicationsProficiency in regression testing and managing the defect management process

BACKGROUND

Progressive and relevant experiencePreferred certs Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce Admin., Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud ConsultantAccredited Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Professional preferredFamiliarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, or MuleSoft preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills

EDUCATION

Bachelor s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline required

Applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individual s primary workstation is located in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 100% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 100% of the time.
