Role Description

The Park Infusion Center and Sickle Cell Infusion Center care for adult patients requiring infusion, hydration, or transfusion in ambulatory settings. Rapid access to comprehensive care services for persons needing treatment for sickle cell disease is provided. This is a full-time on-site role as a Registered Nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a Registered Nurse, your day-to-day tasks will include providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring patients' conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring the highest patient safety and quality of care.

Shifts: 10-hour day shifts; work every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license and active CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies and practices
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred
