Golbal semiconductor player is looking for an Etch Equipment Engineer (System Owner) for Austin, TX
JOB DESCRIPTION
- In your new role you will: Be responsible for management of capital equipment in etch area
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems(e.g., mechanical, electrical).
- Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield.
- Perform equipment analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose Etch equipment problems.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or related)
Ability to contribute to process improvements
Capability of resolving problems using existing solutions
Ability to lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience or provides informal guidance to junior staff Works with minimal guidance
May represent the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement
