The ATIP system is operated by AT&T specialists and selected AT&T Helios Teammates cleared to support the multitude highly sensitive programs.AT&T has an opening for a Systems Integration Engineer for the ATIP program providing managed IT support of SAP-IT systems for high-priority defense intelligence collection needs.Duties/Responsibilities:The Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for managing data flows for a wide range of devices. They will utilize Apache NiFi and Python scripting to move and manipulate to the customer's specification. They will be responsible for connecting to other API endpoints as well as maintaining an in-house built API and web application built using Flask.The following technologies are used:Operating Systems: RHEL7,8, Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle DBLanguages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSSVirtualization: VMWare, NutanixOther: Apache NiFi, Microsoft Visio, Cross Domain Solutions, Ansible, Active DirectoryDevelop and sustain intricate data flows from a multitude of sources leveraging Apache NiFi.Devise innovative approaches for intricate data manipulation challenges utilizing Python.Employ Apache NiFi and custom Python scripts to retrieve data from remote APIs, modify the data, and then distribute it according to customer requirements.Implement necessary features to a client-oriented web application developed with Flask.Transform legacy Java implementations into contemporary Python code, leveraging modern libraries to achieve equivalent functionality.Engage in weekly engineering review board sessions, offering technical insights on change requests from both the internal team and clients.Analyze current data flows for inefficiencies and propose optimized remedies.Design new cross-domain channels to establish secure channels for securely transferring data across various security domains.Document new and existing data flows using Microsoft Visio.Evaluate change request documentation for technical precision, sourced both internally and externally.Required Clearance:TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)Required Qualifications:A bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position or one (1) year of relevant experience. Proficient in utilizing the Linux command-line interface.Proficiency in a programming language preferably Python.Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work both as part of a team and independently. Must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by date of security indoctrination with any necessary.
