The Financial Analyst is responsible for modeling/pricing of eCommerce pursuits and transportation including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, trend analysis, identification of on-going improvement, and communication of issues and improvement opportunities for the eCommerce fulfillment product. Qualified candidates will have experience and demonstrate in-depth understanding of the eCommerce fulfillment space providing insightful financial analysis. This position reports to the Senior Fulfillment Product Manager of eCommerce.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Supports eCommerce Operations by preparing necessary analytical reports, budgets, and financial insight into the business
Presents financial information to senior management with confidence
Builds strong working relationships with internal and external partners and provides necessary financial reporting
Creates a culture of data-driven decision-making and predictive analysis through reporting and modeling
Reviews system generated reporting for accuracy and completeness
Creates and maintains procedures and process documentation
Provides ad-hoc reporting
Maintains, enhances, and expands financial knowledge to facilitate business performance with emphasis on Small Parcel Transportation.
Develops standardized reporting to ensure an efficient reporting process
Participates in continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in eCommerce
Minimum 5 years' experience in financial reporting to Senior Level Management
Experience with Small Parcel Management / Negotiations
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills
Ability to travel up to 25%, with extended travel for start-ups/special projects
Preferred:
Degree - BA / BS preferred
Master Degree / MBA is a plus
Start-up / new product launch experience

This is a client-facing position responsible for supporting cross-functional teams in support of new business growth.Demonstrated communication skills, program management/project management skills, and team facilitation skills are required. Experience facilitating workshops, team projects, and client consulting engagements is critical.
