Job description

Come join our growing team! Ironmark's HR Department supports our amazing team of employees across our 4 facilities. The Ironmark Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR/ Payroll-related duties in the following functional areas: payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, talent acquisition, compliance, training, performance management, and policy implementation. This position is 100% onsite. Payroll processing experience in ADP Workforce Now is a must!


. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes and administers all functions of bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Run all reports associated with payroll and upload to external databases.
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Reports all Employment reports to various agencies (i.e. EEOC, VETS-4212, OSHA, etc.)
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees
  • Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
  • Develops and maintains employee engagement program.
  • Assist in recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, performing reference checks and telephone interviews
  • Onboards new hires
  • Create content for internal employee newsletter
  • Process unemployment claims and assist in appeals when needed.
  • Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in the HRIS system in a timely fashion
  • Administers 401k plan to include changes and reporting.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.


Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Three to five years of HR/ Payroll experience.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience - payroll processing and HR components.
