Job description
- 55 bed Hospital
- Flight or mileage, rental, and lodging, full malpractice coverage.
- 3 ORs and 2 procedure rooms for scopes
- Cases : No trauma, Bread and butter cases with general surgery, ortho, gyn, urology, podiatry, ophthalmology, and OB is only C-sections. Our OB docs do their own labor epidurals, anesthesia not involved. Anesthesiologist is always on site for cases but CRNAs do the cases with a great deal of autonomy. Some radiology cases that need sedation.
- Dates in need of coverage : June 2024 February 2025, will do 5 9 month contracting.
- Schedule : Monday Friday, 6:50 am 3:30 pm.
- Call needed : 1 weekend per month, 2 week nights per month. Call cases only evenings, nights and weekends. Call is rotated between 6 providers and would ask call ahead of time. 25 minutes to respond to OB call.
- EMR : EPIC
- Care Team Model : Supervised with CRNAs doing cases and a great deal of autonomy.
- Credentialing : Temporary privileges are available in 1 week
- Interviews within 24 hours of presentation
