Job Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for the right Advanced Practitioner to work with a dynamic team of clinical professionals at a well-respected, busy, growing physician-owned pediatric medical practice. The CRNP/PA will work at the top of his/her license functioning as a clinical pediatric expert to coordinate and deliver all aspects of comprehensive care (see patients, assess their needs, and prescribe medications; accordingly, conduct well and sick visits; order appropriate testing as necessary and return patient phone calls). The CRNP/PA must be experienced in working with the pediatric patient population and capable of providing health education and counseling to individuals and families. We serve many different patient types and large families.
Salary commensurate with experience.
ABOUT THE PRACTICE
This physician-owned practice located in Pikesville, MD and has a well-established reputation for providing quality care while placing children and their families first. The practice prides itself on providing compassionate, comprehensive services to children from birth through adolescence through a team of physicians and advanced practicing providers.
The practice offers telemedicine services to the extent the patient insurance coverage permits, and patients have the technology available for such visits. All providers will have the opportunity to participate in EMR use as the practice is at the early stage of EMR and Patient Portal implementation.
MUST have current CRNP/CPNP certification, and possess valid Maryland State license, DEA, CDS, and NPI.
Job Description
Full-time work schedule, Monday Thursday (9 am- 5 pm) and Friday (9 am-2 pm); approximately 36 hours per week.
On-call responsibilities, rotating schedule with other providers.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works collaboratively with physicians and advanced practicing providers. The NP's scope of responsibilities includes therapeutic health services that focus on health restoration, health maintenance, and disease prevention. The NP also provides health education and counseling to individuals and families.
Job Requirements
Requirements for this opportunity include:
Minimum two years of experience with pediatric patients.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Must hold and maintain a current Maryland license as a Physician Assistant and or Nurse Practitioner.
Current DEA license
