The ideal

Director, Safety and Compliance

is responsible for providing incident-free customer service by working with branches and managing company compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations.

Responsibilities and requirements will include but are not limited to:

Bachelor s degree preferred.

Meticulous attention to detail.

10 years experience improving the safety of plant operations or transportation required.

Supervisory level experience in chemical/gas manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge of OSHA requirements required.

Experience with drivers and knowledge of DOT requirements preferred.

Expert in incident reporting, incident investigation, root cause analysis,incident software administration, and compliance management.

Experience with planning and implementing company safety improvement for sales, production, distribution, warehousing, and tank installation activities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced computer skills. Strong Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment; Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

Goal orientated, well organized and attentive.

Up to 30% travel required.

Strong experience coaching and supporting safety and performance improvement at all employee levels.

Strong leadership and self-motivational skills.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
