Company Counsel is searching for Litigators at the Counsel, Senior Associate, and Mid-Level Associate Levels who desire meaningful work in a team-oriented and supportive environment. We are searching for individuals with a book of business who are looking for support to grow their existing clientele. Responsibilities: Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions Market the firm, with emphasis on the firm s litigation capabilities Build a network and participate in professional and business networking Continue to grow your book of business (currently at least $250,000) and help drive the continued growth of the firm Conduct consultations with prospective clients for purposes of case evaluation and qualification Qualifications: Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills Four-year bachelor s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration Portable book of business Compensation: $85,000 - $135,000 (based on experience and book of business)
