About the Job:
Sandy Spring Bank is currently recruiting for a Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst. The successful candidate obtains and analyzes information, primarily financial, for the purposes of assisting in the underwriting of commercial loan requests. Prepares both business and individual financial spreads. Also, performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the credit and loan administration functions. Begins the process of working with PMs to understand /develop portfolio mgmt. and underwriting best practices /procedures.
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepares business and individual financial spreads for both new and existing client relationships, utilizing a software program, in accordance with established guidelines, policies and procedures with a high degree of accuracy and in accordance with department turnaround time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Work requires reasonable mobility in and around the work area. Ability to use standard computer and phone systems is required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment where there is almost no discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.
Work includes little or no potential exposure to hazardous conditions.
Must be able to travel to remote company and/or client locations.
