Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move structured and unstructured data using state-of-the-art methods.
- Perform data ingestion tasks to store data securely at local or enterprise levels.
- Examine data in its native formats and develop code to format data, facilitating further analysis.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and partners to analyze source data formats and develop optimal data transformation strategies.
- Create and implement tools and code for both ad-hoc and ongoing data transformations into designated data models.
- Adhere to and implement ETL standards and best practices.
- Craft detailed ETL Code Transition Plans.
- Produce comprehensive project documentation, including ETL mappings, code usage guides, and access instructions.
- Lead Code Reviews and provide expert consulting services to support data transport initiatives.
Required Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS, SQL, or APIs.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with advanced technology stacks such as Docker/Kubernetes, Hadoop/Spark, NiFi, and ELK stack.
Security Clearance:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly.
