The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 assists in providing comprehensive data to clinical teams who are performing outreach to members. This role solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to the clinical teams and the members they contact. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 must have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 helps develop and define tools, technologies, applications, and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data. This data is then used to create insightful and actionable business applications, dashboards and reports that assist clinical staff in understanding members' medication profiles. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 supports department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, by pulling together data from related areas. This role makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 follows established guidelines/procedures and works well with the team to cross-train. The team shares knowledge to support and improve processes overall for clinical outreach efforts moving forward.

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

1or more years of programming experience in PowerApps, Power BI and/or .NET

1 or more years of experience with SQL, SAS or other data systems.

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

1 or more years of technical experience in data analysis

Experience with SSIS packages

In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.

Experience with data mining, file processes and assessing complex data sets

PBM/Pharmacy experience is a plus

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$65,000 - $89,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
