Document Scanning Associate - Remote (with travel up to 2 weeks/month from April to September)

Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Agility Consultants is currently seeking a Document Scanning Associate to take a lead role in our digital document management. This position is responsible for scanning records and developing a document storage structure.

Job Duties Include:

  • Travel to onsite client locations to inventory, scan, and maintain records

  • Assist in developing and maintaining methodologies for identifying, scanning, and sorting scanned documents

  • Assist in sorting digital files into groups according to structure of physical records

  • Assist in transition of digital files between systems of record

  • Identify and log missing documents of record

  • Learn and maintain an understanding of federal easement policies and requirements

Position Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative, scanning, document management, or similar experience

  • Direct experience in converting documents to digital formats

  • Ability to develop and maintain a document storage system

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn various scanning software

  • Excellent research and analytical skills

  • Proven communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to operate within the timelines

  • Ability to stay abreast of industry best practices as well as developing innovative, alternative methods to locating records

  • Ability to search and review real property records online and on-site, including aptitude to summarize the content of the searched records

  • Ability to learn state law requirements in connection with searching real estate transactions

  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to determine, based on reviewing records, the nature of the interest, the impact to the encumbered property and the grantors and grantees of the property interest

  • Experience with GIS technologies like ArcGIS Pro
