Site Supervisor

Onsite - Northern VA Data centers

$30/hr. OR DOE

5-Month Contract, Possibility of Extension


Brooksource is hiring a Site Supervisor/Project Lead to join one of our largest cloud-computing companies and tech giants, as they are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth! As the Project Lead, you will oversee a team of ~5 technicians as they install HAC units (Hot Aisle containment) within IAD s data centers that vary throughout the Northern Virginia region.


We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to supervise site operations, ensure project compliance, enforcing times and meeting project metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership and organization expertise in implementing and managing high availability architectures to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in construction site management, military operations or logistics, or other related roles where an individual was managing electrical, mechanical, or HVAC projects.
  • Proven track record in supervising teams, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Technical knowledge of data center operations and HVAC systems is desirable, however not required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safety and productivity.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and excellence among project staff.
  • Assist with installation tasks and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in installation techniques and equipment operation.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and resources on site.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Address any deficiencies or deviations promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor project progress against established timelines and milestones.
  • Identify potential delays or obstacles and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize workflow and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and project completion metrics.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project progress.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
