This DC association is seeking a professional with at least two years of experience in a blended capacity of supporting administrative tasks, front desk responsibilities, general office/operational duties and ad hoc projects across a busy team. As the Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for managing the first interaction between this association and its members and the general public with a warm, professional demeanor. About the Job:

  • Communicate with guests, external contacts and the general public to assist with inquiries, requests, and scheduling matters in-person, over the phone and email using strong professionalism.
  • Keep an organized office space, monitoring office supplies and inventory, and general operational needs.
  • Coordinate and prepare conference rooms and manage busy conference room calendars.
  • Maintain calendars and scheduling needs for the team; schedule in-person and virtual meetings and appointments.
  • Liaise with the administrative support team to facilitate communication and coordinate projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Organize and compile meeting materials, including but not limited to, documents, spreadsheets and slide decks. Ensure all parties have accurate materials leading up to appointments.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the team and help out with special assignments as needed.
  • Create trusting and lasting relationships with the team by executing tasks with professionalism and a sense of urgency.
  • Manage ad hoc office vendor relationships and client contact database.

About You:

  • Welcoming. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in white-glove hospitality, or similar administrative role, Bachelor s degree in hand.
